Terry Nolan
Terry is currently the Associate Director for Information Systems Assessment. Prior to Georgia Tech, Terry served as a Surface Warfare Officer with the US Navy. He has a global perspective having served on various commands around the world, as a Program Manager, Joint Services and Security Affairs Officer. He brings considerable experience with computer and information systems developed during his various tours with the U S military. He is a member of the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA). He graduated from Emory University with a BA in Math.
He is an active member of the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA), Information Security Systems Association (ISSA), and the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association. Terry holds professional certifications as both Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and Information Security Systems Professional (CISSP). He is also a member of the Georgia Tech Techmasters Organization as an Advanced Toastmaster (ATM(B)). Terry is active on campus as the treasurer of the GT Military Affinity Group.
He graduated from Emory University with a BA in Math and has attended various graduate level courses of instruction related to organizational management, computer, command and control as well as project management.
